The first thing I have to point out here is how awesome the Dizzy Gull logo is. The second thing I have to point out is the reduced amount of photos in this blog post. This is mostly due to the UNBELIEVABLE roast I ate on Sunday at Brighton Beer Dispensary, which distracted me. In fact, I'm starting to think I need to go somewhere that serves horrible food so I can put up a bad review on here! It's starting to sound like I just love everything...
Something to point out is that you can't book here, and it's hard to avoid popular times because it's basically acceptable to eat a roast at any time on a Sunday. HOWEVER I did hear the barman say they usually run out about 5 so just make sure you're down before then! We didn't find it too difficult though, just hung around a bit then sat at the bar then moved to a table just before we tucked in. As long as you're pretty chilled out and happy to upgrade spots if you get a chance you'll be fine.

As far as the pub itself goes, it's fab. Has a really cosy feel to it and the staff are lovely. I really wanted to sit in the conservatory (cue my craning my neck every two seconds to see if there were any empty tables) but didn't get a chance unfortunately. It looked so bright and airy in there though so definitely go for it if you get a chance. If you're into craft beer then this is the place (there's bloody loads of it). They also had three ciders on when I visited - I skipped the 7% ones in an effort not to get too merry in the middle of a Sunday!
The food took a little while to come (and it really pains me to say anything bad about this place) but when it arrived OH MY GOD. I am not exaggerating when I say that this is one of the best roasts I have ever had if not THE BEST (sorry Mum). Literally everything on the plate was cooked to perfection and so so tasty. I had the pork belly and my boyfriend had the rolled leg of lamb - they both melted in the mouth. Apart from that, the stars of the show for both of us were the cauliflower and truffle puree and the cheesy leeks - I guarantee you have never had leeks this good. And you get that whole pile of food for only £13!**I promise this post wasn't sponsored by Dizzy Gull, they're just that good...
